How new UK car 'mandatory' speed limiters would work - and how likely they are to actually happen

In other news, new laws to be introduced by the EU (which the UK will adopt) will ban all motorcyclists from smiling while riding. All new motorcycles will be supplied with a type approved helmet which will contain cameras linked to an onboard AI system programmed to detect smiles.
Any motorcyclist detected to be smiling will be considered to be enjoying themselves and will be subject to "re-education".
It is not currently known what form the "re-education" will take, but it is believed that in the UK it may involve being strapped to a tandem with Jeremy Vine and forced to accompany him on his daily commute for a month.
