I think its just about retirement age for Max, very sad as he is a great 250 rider but not in the 'big class' and I mean no disrespect.
I suppose the funny thing is every one thinks that they all must be good 250 GP riders to be a top GP rider but off the top of my head Rossi won the 250 then the GP class, the last rider to win the 250 championship and the 500 (I think) was the great Freddie Spencer who in fact won both in the same year.
