Rear LED bulbs - which ones???

I've fitted front indicators with LED running lights in them and now want to replace the rear bulbs on my carb bike with LED's. The choice is huge. I want bright, long life and low current draw - yeah everything. Anybody any experience or do I just go to Karen at Jaws m.c.'s as always.

Consider replacing the whole rear light with an aftermarket LED unit - IMHO they are very smart, particularly the smoked ones

Agreed

The advantage of a replacement led unit is that the numberplate light remains white despite the red stop/tail light.

If you just want bulbs for now - you want something like these

Thanks guys. The problem is everything costs me double. Whatever I do to mine has to be done to Milady's as well :violin: Have you got a link to the smoked LED unit? Is it for a carb bike?

Search for "cbr1100 tail light" and you will find many listings.

I was filtering through the traffic on the motorway this week when a bike with strobing spot lights came behind me, cutting through like butter. I was thinking it would be great to fit them into the indicators. Probably a wee bit illegal but gets the attention of car drivers.

You can buy them pre done but they aren't cheap

They are good though, I have noticed cars are a lot quicker to make room since I have fitted them.

Yep, those are the ones. He did a bit of a deal on two sets not through flea bay.
I'm not sure about the chinese rear ones with indicators in so had a chat with the UK guy doing smoked rear LED's. Once again happy to help on two units without the flea bay charges. Here was me thinking I would get away with some cheapo bulbs in there.
Then spoke with the guy doing smoked indicator lenses with orange bulbs. Yep, he helped a bit too.
So it's smokies all round. And all I wanted was some running lights brok3
