shame it weren't tomorrow,as i'm doing 760 miles to northumberland and back (from south wales),would have needed only do another 240 to complete said journey.
Having done this mileage a few times you should time it so that your last 100 miles or so are done about 3 AM It is chilly enough to keep you awake and just early enough to not be hit by the dread gray line tiredness ( about 20 minutes before sunrise whe it is all turning that grey colour, sudeenly you realise how long the day has been and it all catches up with you ! )
did the trip to newcastle (morpeth) and back today..up in my brothers cage, and i rode a cbr600rr back the 375 miles or so back, and i must say..i found that testing.left at 5am this morning and got home at 8.45pm,absolutely knackered.i now realise that doing a 1000 miles in a day ain't gonna be a walk in the park. fl4g71
