Took down my old outdoor light which has only worked on & off since we moved in, (yes I know that’s how lights work) replaced it with the ring floodlight camera, checked all the connections then switched the power on, nothing, rechecked all the connections, no problems there, went to the switch, took the face plate off & checked the connections, all fine, went to the fuse box in the hall, no tripped fuses, went back to the switch, noticed another cable coming from it leading to a “FUSED BOX” underneath, swapped the fuse,TA DA, all is now good, last place I looked should have been the first.

When we used to frequent Pafos there was a small bar called The First and Last on the outskirts of the main nightlife area.

It was so called as it was the first place many people would drop in for a drink on the way into town for the evening and the last place they would adjourn to for a nightcap on the way back.

It was an absolute hole, toilets were truly dreadful…but clever branding by the elderly Greek owner created a tradition that meant his bar was pretty full early and late into the night.

No idea what he did in between.

Just thought I would mention it.

Speaking of getting old
Went for a ride on my Blackbird this morning (just had to after spending so much time on my Fazer during last week). Got to the end of the road 50 yards away and my left hip locked up and proceeded to induce a great feeling of pain. I stopped for a moment and straightened my leg and all was good again.
I continued onwards with the eventual destination to be Glasson Dock fer a brew.

I had been riding along for quite a while with a vague sense that I had forgotten summat. I went through the mental check list. Keys..... lower left pocket- check, Phone..... upper right pocket- check. Wallet lower right pocket - hmmm I couldn't remember picking it up or even seeing it and I def couldnt feel the outline of it in my pocket:eek:
Now sat at home having a brew and a sconn with jam and clotted cream.

Yep... getting old prob sums it up :)

On long rides I had to stretch one or both legs out due to hip pain.

Oh no, not again.

It's always cream first, dairy product goes on first.

You don't put butter on top of jam!

That's it, no more debate needed.

Fact.
Wrong!

you had 2 options and chose the wrong way.

Fact.

I’m staying out of it .

Only to add what does a Kernowian and a ferret whisperer know of the finer culinary delights regarding the proper assembly of dairy products and preserves :couch:

You missed a bit, you also fail to grasp that as a Yorkshireman I’m always right
