I fancy spending the Easter holiday on the other side of the channel. But not sure where to head for.
I'll have Friday through to Monday inclusive. I don't want to spend long hours on motorways trying to get to the best riding roads. Options at the moment is Normandy, Ardennes, for their battle sites although I'm not big on war sites. I just love riding good roads, eating and drinking if the truth be told. Paris, Brugge and Amsterdam have all been done in the past. I want to cross at eastern side of the channel, can anyone give some suggestions.

Hi, my best advice after riding in Europe every year for the last 25, is to take the motorail down fron s-hertzgenborg, you can book with railsavers and ride back home via Sopsiel, Briel sur roya, Route napoleon and Swiss mountain passes, they are all fabulous but I really like the Furka and Grimsel, and grand St Bernard. If you are feeling brave and like a challenge then the daddy of them all is Stelvio.

good luck
