In retrospect I'm glad I'm not invited. All the bash's Ive gone to since I've joined have been fantastic, seeing names to faces etc etc, and had a great time, all people who has a common intrerest in The Blacky getting together for a knees up regardless of who bought a Bird first.

The thought of parting with has beens of the "oh I done that first" brigade fills me with dread and disspear. Ride outs on GS's Landy's and any other old cage they can buy with their pensions cant be fun.

There.s a lot of peeps go to a lot of trouble to arrange things on this forum which get very little support from the old hands. These actions are starting to divide a brotherhood, which is a crying shame.
I can understand Martins ideas of nostalgia, most old gits sooner or later get it as they try to hang on to all things yesterday, but why not join in the ready organised events, even if you peel off into your own groups and discuss your latest medication. There's so much knowledge to pass onto the next generation, once they've sorted out the bullshit of "it never rained on our rideouts.
So come on you old gits get it together and dont be afraid of any thing new, it's your future developing not the past declining.

Any newbie would be suicidal to go straight in trying to organise anything or contributing in any shape or form, until the lay of the land is sussed. That is blatantly obvious on this forum as the "old sckool" want to keep it for themselves.

This could explain why we have so many lurkers, afraid to join in, in case thier character is totally obliverated. There are forum administrators who would get a small financial reward for every sponsers who join's, but I'm sure there are a few who dont give a feck as long as they are ok. Safe in thier own minute world, untroubled by any thing new. Not having to try to hard to develope new social skills and let their defenses down to an unknown enterty

I would be interested who you regard as the "old school" who are keeping it to themselves?
Smix 09-03?
Artemis 03-04?
Blu 03-03?
Stan 02-04 ?
Me 11-03?
Apart from Jaws who has been around since the year dot i wouldn't say any of us fit in that bracket :dunno:

In that case - Martins got a second big bite. but then since I've never met him and don't know if he's naturally offensive/horrible or if he's winding up, I guess it can be easy to bite on something like this.
