have just had both wing mirrors smashec on my car outside my house, neighbour saw the kid ran down the stairs and saw him attacking his van was trying to kick the mirrors of that as well, shouted gave chase kid fecked off.

knocks on my door to tell me and aload of kids come running from the direction the first ran to, police were at the end of the road, the lot that ran past us were caught other end of road, 16 cars have broken wing mirrors, 1 car smashed windowscreen, 38 kids ranging from 8-16 were stopped and names taken etc etc

one of the girls who was caught said that it was "soandso", poliewoman tells me that they will arrest him , he is 14, if it goes to court it is down to the court to award me damages, if it doesnt go to court i get feck all.

I asked policewoman where do i stand if i catch him doing it again what can i do?? she says that i can hold him within "reasonable force" no problem sys i , i will just lock him in the motor, can not do that as it come be classed as imprisionment, so i then said ok headlock arm up the back etc etc, hhmmm she says not really incase he is bruised or hurt!!

she then says that if he has a bat and hits me with it i can hit him back, borrox says i if he has a bat and even moves in my direction i will drop him like a feckin stone, so for his sake that had better be quick in getting to him.

she then warns me that should i catch him and should i hit him then they will have no choice by to do me because of what i have gone on record as saying.

so if some feckin scrote damages your property deal with the police but for fecks sakes dont tell what you think you might do if you catch them.

one good thing out of it spoke to 3 neighbours for the first time, who have lived here min of 5 years and we all agree that if the little feckers come back we will go ahunting in the park for the bastids.



so i am now about ?200 out of pocket and am waitin fo youth club to finsh and the shit to start again.



PS their was 38 kids in our street because it is the first night (opening night) of the new youth club in the park!!! so all the borrox about the little darling are bored got nothing to do is fuckin crap, and as far as i am concerned the youth club can shut if his this what it is going to be like from now on.

Wilf, just remember, its the 'LAW' that governs who gets done not the cops.
The cops are merely there to collate ALL the evidence.
As i see it from your side then go for it, however, if the scrote gets a slap and reports it to the cops they are DUTY BOUND to deal with it as the 'LAW' stipulates. Just be carefull.

dealer prices then colourcoded to match, come to ?187 roughly, early 406 had manual mirrors, for 2 years i think then all went electric, guess which ones i have!!

the expression "for-warned is for-armed" comes to mind, why "announce" what you intend doing?? all it does is let "the subject" prepare him/herself by (1) hitting/etc you first, or (2) telling the feds, and as you've already read they are then "obliged" to do something about it!! :dunno:

I quite simply mean that we rely upon the public assisting us when they witness an incident instead of shying away...those are the people who slag us of for being shit, they are too quick off the mark in slagging the cops yet won't come forward and assist.
We are not super powers, we are normal folk with a job to do.
