Oh .. and The Galley in Annalong ... but .... they don't open on a Sunday as it's the Lord's Day. Amen to that.
The place we stopped on the 2011 McBash ride out in Aviemore
Papa Rock -bike memorabilia, nice staff, drinks licence and think they have live music nights as well
Well they're wrong......It's Sherburn in Bloody Elmet.......Leeds? it's 30 miles from leeds....
Ask anybody....
Derek, Red Mick, IanRobbo,
We've all been there,(together, shhhhh) so we know where it is.
LOL
Bloody postal address...mean nowt.....
One of my favorites is 'The World Famous Comfort Cafe' near Cambridge. Between Cambridge and Linton/Haverhill, just off the A505. Always bikes there any weekend, and no doubt evenings through the summer, but never been then.
Its world famous ya no....
I forgot about that one! It's got a feel like a Happy Eater but I've never been there when there's been no other bikes @tu*
Squires milk bar closed down some time ago, due to problems with the town itself. anyhow, the owners Bought a pub elsewhere, and renamed it Squires. It's the original people, in a new location, with an ajoining mtorcycle accessory shop and Camping.
It's still a good meeting pace, and easier to find/get to IMHO
All the above true, I think you will find "Harry" the "original" owner has now flogged it, although he put a cause in the sale to include his stupid son as part of the deal, Harry drops in occasionally in his helicopter!! just to say hello,!! they now put "the pastie" behind glass so you cant cough all over it when your queuing for a VERY expensive tea or coffee now!!:xm
Hardly very expensive, unless your drinking 20 gallons of the stuff you tight twat. Typical Yorkshireman. Why don't you take a flask of coffee and a coupla sandwiches ?
:-0)
Errr, just a thought Wolfie. All these cafes that have been mentioned. Most aren't exactly famous are they. :dunno: Favourites to the locals mebbe .
Otherwise a plan to take in all these "famous" cafes will take a couple of years to do; and you'll end up like Fatbert too.
