Im copying some of my CD's to a MP3 player. I copied the relevant discs to the PC and noticed that some of them automatically download the cover photo and name all the tracks for me from the internet. How the heck does it do this and why wont it do the same for all my CD's???

:dunno:

Windows media player automatcially searches for them by default, you have to deselect this in the set up.

If the disc is off the shop shelf it'll usually find a catalogue entry for it that's correct. In the Media Player options there's a tick-box on the "Library" tab, lower half of the window. It might have trouble for very new titles of compilations (official and home-made).

For example, listening to some Electric 80's CD now and all the tracks listed are in the wrong order to what's playing. c7u8
