Don't know if you are familiar with the YSS shock from Jaws? Maybe the question should be aimed at Karen?? Or someone who's gend up on suspension.

Anyway...

Just got a YSS rear shock from Karen at JAWS and was wondering how to set it up for me riding mainly A / B roads. Would it be fine just left alone once fitted or do I have to set up preload etc. Doesn't have compression adjustment.

I am 6ft 14 stone if that helps.

Thanks

All shocks should be set for you.

Measure the sag at the rear of the bike and adjust to around 30mm.

noobie

Clueless in most things
When you ask for a jaws shock they ask a few questions like weight, type of riding, luggage, pillion etc and then the shock sent to you will be matched so don't start tinkering, sag as mentioned
