Memorial Meet - 5th April - Victoria Inn, Coalville

Just wondered if anyone fancies this - Its something some guys from Visordown (now also on TRC) started to remember one of the VD posters, and also to give people a chance to actually meet in real life the people they chat to regularly online.

I missed it last year, but have arranged to stay with friends on Saturday to make sunday not such a long ride.

Would be good to see some BBs there too -

Location: Vic Bikers Pub, COALVILLE, LEICESTERSHIRE. (gmap).

Time: Midday Onwards.

For anyone coming a long way, the Vic does camping (please contact them direct), there's a Motel next door (recommended by Hairy Ben IIRC), and in addition, if enough people (10+) are interested, they are now doing a "sleep-over" option whereby you can sleep in the pub (presumably with the bar shutters down. ), with sleeping bag and air-bed, and get 2 bacon butties and as much tea/coffee as you can drink, all in for a ?10 a person (Or so I have been told!).

If anyone wants to organise a "sleep-over" and can guarantee 10+ people please either contact the pub direct, or PM me and I'll pass the information on and double check the terms/conditions.

Please post if you're a likely/possible/definite, the pub would appreciate some awareness of numbers for buying in food. (I realise that some have prior commitments, and I apologise for that).

well - I'll be there from just before midday tomorrow. Riding up with some friends from TRC - meeting more from TRC,VD, EXVD and a couple of Hooners are going too.

If anyone is going or might fancy meeting for coffee there tomorrow, give me a shout - 0 seventy eight thirty five 562 3 ninety five (spect I will have phone in hand once there!)
