Looking in the mirror

Thanks everyone who contributes with tips etc.

1 saved my butt a few weeks ago

week 1 of new black 05 bird. 45km's on dial. 3 weeks of licence
Stopped at an intersection, just about to put my left foot down when i glanced in the mirror to see a large green truck approaching rather quickly. So no foot down just a quick launch across the intersection - luckily nothing was approaching from other road (traffic light hadn't turned red yet)

Stopped behind the traffic on the other side to see truck coming to a halt in the middle of the intersection -

I had read the night before someone's post talking about how he always keeps an eye on the mirrors when he stopped at intersections -

So whoever that was thanks - it saved me being a black splat on the front of that truck

So new rules

1 Don't stop for Orange lights
2 Always check mirrrors when stopped or when stopping rapidly
