Lazy fecker fork oil change.

As I remember, my old Kawasaki 900r had a simple grub screw to allow the release of old oil at the bottom, a couple of pumps and they were empty, then fill up from the top,, easy. As all of you will agree, im not a fan of making this modification to my Bird.
Is it possible to administer a pipe to the bottom of the fork, from the top, to allow the syringing or syphoning of the old oil?
I obviously want to do the job fully and remove all the old oil, but is this possible?
If you wanna be a sarky fucker, carry on , its expected, but id prefer a well thought out answer .
Usual shite, Its 05 two tone silver (one of the rarer and faster FI models) due to its rarity.

I would just like to point out that my answer (which is the only one received too date) comprised 2 elements 1 or more of which may or may not prove useful :-:

Wahahahahay to go Ambo me old spunkbag. That's telling the fekkers

Just pissed messen. @tu*

Can't help you with the above. I aint a lazy fekka and like to clean the forks totally of old oil ( loada bollox I know but I'm a bit OCD about some things like all of us are i suppose) which means stripping them down to bare including removing the bushes to clean behind their "foreskins".

If I WAS a lazy coont like you, i wouldn't fekkin bother doing half a job and just leave the old oil in. You'd only notice the difference AFTER you'd changed the oil so leave it, ignorance is bliss.

GLWYS for knowledge. ;-0))

Dunno what the fook that old cherry has raised its head again for..."you've only so many posts blah blah" mebbe that's cos ambo spends more time riding the Bird than fekkin posting incessantly on here eh?

Great reply thanks, just the tonic I needed.
So many self righteous losers in this world , I come on here to try and glean information to improve my bike and enjoy the whole experience, chill out and maybe learn a thing or 2 , but get confronted with up tight no marks who always know better. I have a low post count because I don't post shite , then get slated for it.....

just a thought Ambo...... this is the help section, so you really should get your question answered sensibly, if its a sensible question of course, long before any piss taking begins....however the OP almost begs for the piss taking to start early....why even put that in? its in the correct place for a sensible answer, so ask, and then in the age old tradition, listen!d34l :-0)

However I do think that some times there is a habit on this site for certain people to be overly rude and downright personal, which I have to say is fairly unique to this site IMHO. h1d1ng2

Thanks Lumpy, all I was going to do was syringe and measure the oil taken from each leg and replace with exactly the same.

If you remove the front wheel there are hex bolts up in recesses that hold the damper rods in place
Remove those, then undo the top caps and pull up, pulling up the dampers with it. The oil will drain out..

Alternately simply suck it out.. the little left will make no real difference.

Absolutely agree.. You can NEVER go by volume even when you drain the legs right down,,, Should always be done by air gap @tu*

Lol.
I dunno!
By the time you have finished arguing, you could of taken the fairing off, jacked up from the engine and taken the blooming forks off.

Fork upgrade

Just upgraded fork springs from Jaws. Was also ready to syringe/suck old oil out expecting it to be black and sludgey. In fact it looked clean and bright so left it in. Easy job, used a hacksaw blade's teeth to pull up old spring and seal which slipped down into the tube while I wasn't looking. Test it out tomorrow. Next up; waiting for rear shock upgrade from Jaws. @tu*:yo:
