JUST HOME FROM HOSPITAL

just got home after having a 4cm absis removed yesterday from lower down,means i cant ride the bike or even drive the car and no booze either
rode the bike monday and it nearly killed me with the pain i was suffering at the time,a useless night doctor said it was a burst blood vessel so just take pain killers:wank: ,it grew from 1cm to 4cm in less than a day!

You wait untill they stuff the wadding up your absess, it bloody hurts when they pull it out. I had one of them things and they have to dry the cavity out from the bottom of the hole up..........

Silverfox - I had the PS done THREE fookin' times over a 6 month period.

The first time it 'overgranulated' - they were packing the shit in and removing it each day and the bugger healed too fast and left a void which became infected...........

.......so then they did another even larger excision and did a 'primary closure' - basically filthy great stitches. I was instructed by the hozzie, 'not to get the stitches wet'. After a week the tension on the stitches was unbearable so I went to the quack who said, "Have you been salt water bathing these stitches everyday?" No, I said.....the hospital told me not to get them wet. "aah, well you now have an abcess around each stitch entry and exit hole". Fuck.

Back to hospital for the 3rd time, this time they have to excise a rude amount of flesh to make sure they've cut all the infection out again left the wound open. District nurses in my house every morning to change the packing................ I paid a visit to the local Spiritual Healer and touch wood, since then it's been OK.

Most painful experience of my life, couldn't ride or drive for nearly 9 months lost my job and my bird at the time........... human body's a bastard when it goes wrong eh!

The Op's ok its the after careless that hurts. Told it could be caused by an in growing hiar or hair folical infection that can cause it. Mr senior surgeon at the hospital told me after the op to wipe my arse the other way. F**ked if im wiping shit over me bollocks. My extra arse hole seeped for about 2 years after, used to feel a pea size pocket fill with snot, here we go squeeze it out again... Touch wood (thank god the missis is near) all ok now. Mine was about the size of a pear when they decided to operate. Bit of an absarse.

Did I ever tell you about the little spot on the ..........

Sounds like a compensation claim to me........ New bird or two, loss of earnings, stress, pain ........ how long ago?

when they removed the first dressing it nearly killed me with the pain,the nurse used some different stuff which doesnt stick and i had to ask when the nurse had removed it,she told me she had already done it,didnt feel a thing,mind you im on strong pain killers so that may help but it did throb a little after

Advise you read all the 'experience' posts on this one. Dont envy you chap.. I remember when the first first lot of wadding out it was eight bloody feet long. The nurse was a very very very nice bloke :tosser: , he said I'll give you 30 minutes to get it out, or I'll come a do it for you.

I had just spoken to someone who had had it done the day before, he said try to get it out youself, the very very very nice :tosser: , took his out, via a standback and rip method. Fook that, I managed. Needed entanox when he repacked it though. very very very nice ..... BASTARD.man8um man8um man8um . Just a bit concerned where his thumb kept going.

the stuff that i have been using is inserted as a type of string,that over a period of time breaks down into a gel which pours out of the wound taking any contaniments with it so i dont have to put up with the pain of having the strip removed daily with a load of pain ,seems a lot better way of getting the treatment
