Cheers Dhekelia !! :p

And glad to hear that Steve ( Jordan ) seems to have moved on from all his woes.. ( like leaving fork caps lose and filling said forks with something Pete descibed as gear oil ! LOL ! )

Steve had a great rep and did a lot of good work.. seems to have hit a bad patch last year but looks like he has moved upwards and onwards !

Had no idea he specialised in Birds though ...

LOL !! Why ?

This was ages ago and Pete reported the incidents.. I seem to remember it was the fault of a guy working for him.. and he got the matter sorted ..

Given the amount of friction we seem to generate between us obviously things need to be sorted out.. Perhaps a waffle over a cuppa or some such ?

No thanks. It's Steve you should be having a bagel with. Mind you, you'd have to go down to him as he's simply too busy to spend hours on the internet and it's not in his nature to pubclically slander reputations and business's.

With all due repsect to Pete, how he is qualified to "Report" anything?

Steve had a great rep and did a lot of good work.. seems to have hit a bad patch last year but looks like he has moved upwards and onwards !
"Had" a great Rep? Bwhahahahah, I really would encourage you to pay Steve a visit so you can a chat.

Had no idea he specialised in Birds though ...
In case you hadn't noticed, there are a large number of non-Bargeists on this site now and you've simply taken my original post not in the spirit it was intended. In any case, what's so special about a Barge?

and only one that overfills so much that you could drain enough oil to do another bike!!! Eh Mon Ami?
I wasn't going to raise that or nylon rear spring spacers or etc, etc, etc but all I would say is that I hope the owners gave Jaws the opportunity to resolve the issues.

Sorry - couldn't resist it :)

And neither could I Bert, but that's the last I have to say on the matter.

NYLON spacers  wouldn't they be a bit................... brittle or squashy.

Wouldn't fit one again anyway personally, i'm not track god enough to need to sharpen up my steering.

Going back to the original post.

Top class speedy service from JAWS, especially after the BASH when i had my 'caliper incident', he was there on the phone to offer assistance in any way he could.
Also, when ordering the few bits i have, they were there next day without fail.

SPRING spacers not shock spacer.

ie on top of spring under the collars.

Yessss.. that was the spring spacer in Nylon as supplied by Ohlins to the people who do the shock rebuilds then.... hmmm

Just goes to show.. You think a company knows what they are doing and all the time they are just winging it.. Best strike Ohlins off my Chrstmas card list !
