hi, i have tried to find a web site to buy grandstand tickets for the british gp, Ticket master only selling normall tickets, not grandstand, i have found a site that does sell them from europe, but would rather use a more local one.
I have used google but to no avail, keep getting hits for f1?.
Thanks in advance. :yo:

No...it really is rubbish. Old out of date facilities and even worse spectator areas, unless you enjoy standing on grass covered (if your lucky) mounds of rubble and earth. Compared to other tracks there is no comparison, especially at that price. d34l

I think the view of the lower side of the track is good. You can sit near the Spitfire and see then from for almost half the track. I prefer Snetterton though for pit garage access. Rockingham rocks for this also.
:yo:

I prefer BSBK prices though.

Having camped there over the weekend and been treated like shite I will never ever camp at that shit hole again. I may be talked into practise day to meet old friends but race day is def out of the question. The air horn brigade, lack of toilet facilities, lack of good places to watch the race, pathetic security, exhorbitant ticket price, having to pay for a programme and the problem of getting out afterwards... nah not for me. I'd rather go to Le Mans (and thats not the best viewing track) and be made to feal welcome.

WHY OH WHY!!

Do the likes of Donnington park & the NEC keep putting the prices up but the facilities get worse & worse.
Numbers are falling so to keep profits up they put the prices up,,,,,,, that pisses people off so less go,,,,, FFS, it ain't rocket science is it
Exibitors have stopped going to shows (NEC) because of price hikes,, people stop going because less exibitors are showing there wares,, profits are down,,,,,,,, so what would you do,,,,,,,, YES,, reduce prices to attract people!!,,,, but this is the UK,,,,, naaaa,, stick prices up that will cure it.
Glad I will be in Crete while Donny is on,,,,,,, but going to Le mans in May for a change. s04pb0x6

I live~~~

I live less than 5 miles from Donington and wild horses wouldn't get me anywhere near the place

Viewing is crap

Food is crap

Toilets are filthy

Allow 2 hours to get out afterwards

Compare that to a few tinnies and the best view in the place..........

Your own front room with a few mates :)

Last years Le Mans was about ?120 return on the Portsmouth / Le Havre overnight ferry incuding a cabin. 3 day weekend ticket was about 56 euro and for that you also get a programme with the practise times listed from the previous day, secure parking in the Honda section bike park and I mean secure... ALL riders had to produce reg docs on the way out.. no prizes for guessing who didnt take his V5.. so had to hand my key over to Security for scrutiny and lock testing... Ahhh Anglais... shrug of shoulders... waved on eventually to the ride through the town.

Donington STINKS... its a shitheap.

Le Mans

Yes, we're planning on going to the Le Mans MotoGP this year. We've been to Donnington a few times and we heard that Le Mans has a lot more going on. Being on the south coast with a ferry nearby it's no hassle and we get to ride through France.

I don't want to run Donnington down too much but the only way it will improve is for the management to wake up when people start going to other venues.
