The idea of a psychiatric Hospital/ward is to help people with mental health issues not to feed their confusions, tell your woke managers that you identify as the ceo of the Hospital & sack them all.

A few years ago a colleague was in bother for some alleged racist comment, the Manager conducting the investigation dresses up every St George’s day as a Crusader, I advised my colleague to ask for someone other than a racist Governor to investigate, sadly he just took it on the chin & was sent for diversity training.

in a bit of bother.
All depends how I play it.
Now then, you all know I work in mental health care, so... without mentioning actual names, bear with me.
A certain male patient is addressed as a she, no sex change, but dresses as a female & identifies himself as female.
Contractors rock up to exchange a light
in his ensuite, no biggie but I don't get
a heads up on this particular morning as
to whom is a risk. Off I trot to the nurse station to enquire if it's safe to proceed with entry to this patients room. Three nurses and one admin staff are sat listening to my enquiry.
Nurse in charge 'What's the job?'
Me 'Exchange faulty light fitting in his ensuit.'
All of them shouted 'SHE!'
This response kinda made me a tad pissed off, so I responded accordingly.
I replied 'No! He!! If he was a she, then why is she in a male psychiatric unit with 31 other male service users + he still has male genitalia so therefore cannot be physically classed as a male.'
Now, I'm not and never have been part
of his or any patients care package directly as that's not part of my remit.
So I'm not fully aware of any personal
issues regarding any service users.
Tumbleweed ensued and the contractor looked to bury his head in the floor.
Not very professional by me, but I cannot compute this one sided snowflake mentality of this company.
I get the name change and call him as he would like to be addressed.
Anyhow, someone has bubbled me to the hospital management and have asked my department manager to have a word regarding my seemingly disrespectful comments towards this patient although he wasn't in earshot at the time.
There is a 'drop in' session via the personnel depot this Thursday, I'm
going to attend and maybe escalate
this load of bollox.

I've been in a similar situation which ultimately ended up with me handing in my notice because I wasn't prepared to put up with it and I knew I wouldn't win against management's woke bullshit.

Assuming that you plan to stay there then my advice to you is to treat it like a speed awareness course. Yes, it will be patronising and you'll struggle not to argue with their skewed agenda, but just nod and look contrite and let them have their say......then look for another job.
