When you have a moment - can you find out whether it’s jam or cream first on a scone - this has been rumbling on too long and you are in an ideal position to resolve it.
When taking tea at the Ritz ( many, MANY years ago ) it was always jam before cream

To resolve the issue, butter the two halves of the scon, put the jam (raspberry) in a bowl then add the cream & give it a good mix then plastr it on the two scon halves

Are you feckers TRYING to give Malone another heart attack...?

Next thing you'll be saying the word "scone" is pronounced like the word "bone". :bash:

Ffs Andrew this issue was put to bed ages ago. It’s a case of when in Rome etc, etc. In Devon it’s the law, CREAM before jam is mandatory, any attempt to educate the Kernowians away from their heathen habits is treated like a pork sausage at a bar mitzvah:smiley_1140:.
If you don’t mind I’ll rely on whatever Malone’s nurse has to say in the subject

How the feck would you know...? You're feckin' Welsh.

All you've got is Welsh Cake (I bet there was a lot of debate before they picked that name) ...... a flat scone, in other words.

Get better soon Malone.

As an aside, I notice Dirk has taken to misspelling scone (which rhymes with cone) as scon, which proves he knows which pronunciation is right for the correct spelling.
