Anyone fancy a ride down to the Hunters Lodge meet (not the sort of lodge where you have too expose your nipple - unless you want to!!!) on Thursday. I'm going from Burnham but if anyone is interested could arrange a meet first.

Loads of bikes there, beer (if you like to mix beer and bikes) and a BBQ.:yo:

might be able to get there - won't know til weds or thurs! (loosing my bike riding partner/teacher at the weekend for two months, so might be taking advantage of any sunshine to keep learning!!)


what time are you aiming to get to the Hunters? hopefully see you there :yo: :yo:

Ar*e. I've been given a meeting to do in Yeovil at 6.30pm. :xm I'll have to go straight to the Hunters from work now. I'll be there about 7.30ish now. If you're still going shall we meet up there and we can ride back up together on the Wells road?

sorry skipssong - The Hunters Lodge is pub just off the A303 near Wincanton. They have a bike meet every Thursday. I'll dig out the link to the map before next Thursday!!


Good to see you Sam, and Plasticman (sp?) your grin was funny!!!!!!!! glad you are liking it so much!

Hope to catch up again soon

Paul - sorry I missed you - but I really hate riding in the dark (have to go slow!) so disappeared early :blush:!!!

yeah nice to catch up sam,paul turned up about 10mins after you left :xm we had a good chat we were the lasted to leave bl4hbl4h hope you got back safely paul and didnt get in trouble with the miss :lol: they shut the 303 some crash hope it wasnt to bad we think it was a bike involed:dunno: me and paul were talking about poole on tuesday im sure one of us will sort out a thread nice to meet you plasticman yes that was some grin i think your going to have that for a while (try not to drop this one)keep a eye on the ride outs

Smix, sorry I missed you, I got delayed at work.:xm As Sammy says we were about the last to leave, if talking was a team Olympic sport we could win for England!!

Nasty crash on the A303 on the way home, bike hit a tractor and a car I think. Girl on the pillion has serious leg injuries. Not sure if it was a bike that left about ten minutes before us. The Police were shutting the road as we left. Best wishes to her, hope she'll be okay. Makes you think.....

Got home okay thanks Sammy, missus not too grumpy.

Smix, look out for my next meet link, I'll try to be there this time!!!!:yo:

I might make it before dark, but am driving back from Manchester, so if I do make it, it'll be in the car. Paul - can you email me your number so I can find out if you guys are still there?? smixxy at googlemail dot com

I usually leave Manc at about 3ish, so with stops (and lots of extra 'get out and walk round' stops - haven't driven a car from there in ages!!) I should be able to get to the Hunters (in theory!!)
