Unplug the tubes. Now you can remove the tank by sliding it a little bit backwards and then lift it. (the crosses are not relevant in this workshop)

Remove the bolts and the plastic clips of the upper and lower cowl covers and remove them.

No you can see both coils. Unmount the bolts and loosen the philips screws of the metal clamps onder the airfilterbox and release both tubes at the front and the rear of the airbox. Now you can remove the airbox by lifting it up.

This is your view now. Pull off the sparkplugcap. It is recommended that you change one sparkplug at a time. On the cables you can see a number which corresponds with the number of the cylinder. Press the sparkplug in the sparkplugwrench en carefully mount the plug in the hole of the sparkplug and tighten it by hand till you cannot go any further. Now use the wrench and tighten the new sparkplug 1/2 turn to compress the washer.

Nope, its a carburettor.
Just curious as my 98 Aussie BB doesn't but the US carbed Birds seemed to come with the PAIR valve, good to know as some of the guys on the US forums were very surprised mine had no PAIR valves :dunno:
