There was a discussion on this subject on the Jeremy Vine show today and it was stated that under the terms of hosepipe bans you can still fill your swimming pool! It's only the hose-watering of plants and flowers that is banned!

Well that makes sense then.....

Actually I quite admire the French. If they disagree with the shite their government or the EEC is trying to shaft them with they feckin well say so in no uncertain terms and turn out en masse until THE PEOPLE of France get what they want. Unlike the UK where only a small percentage are prepared to stand up and object to being shafted...

Well we dont want the rich to suffer do we. You can also fill the garden pond. So what you could do is put the hose pipe in the swiming pool or garden pond then pump the water out to water the garden or do what you want with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
