All good.

I added a GPS Digital speed display ,Bloodyawesome!

Hi Ned
I'll take some pics for you soon.
The previous owner did the bar conversion,he was pretty much the same height n build as me,six foot fairy long legs.
Coming off a 2003 FZS Fazer 1000 which was my main bike prior to buying the BB , Even with the Renthal's on the BB its still a fair bit more forward riding position than the Fazer, after my bones re adjusted to the riding position its comfortable for me.
He had already gone n tried the VFR route to change the riding position (the bits came with the bike) but then went all in on the renthals. All the cables and brake n clutch lines have been replaced with lengthened venhill braided hoses and cables made for him. I'm guessing not cheap.
It has the MRA Vario touring screen on as well. I forget where it is tight on full lock (screen or fairing) but due to that n him saying his Mot guy was fussy , he has put tire balance weights on the steering stop so it does not touch on full lock. I've no idea how much lock has been lost ,I'd guess not too much but the lock is less than the Fazer.I will try to remeber to take pics of the full lock, you maybe able to tell how much has/has 'nt been lost.
I will go to my garage/lockup and take some pictures for you later this afternoon.

I too went from a Fazer 1000 to a Blackbird. Took a bit of adjustment position wise but it was fine for me (6’2” ish). No ‘fairy legs’ though :qmeparto:

My second Bird came with bar risers and foot peg lowererererers and to be honest I didn’t notice much difference.

Biggest difference I ever noticed was replacing the standard seat with a Corbin. Chalk and cheese.

The clock above the speedo is actually digital GPS speeedo, reverts to the time when stationary.Powered by usb, will do kph or mph. £21 off ebay. Purchased as A I struggle to read the tiny numbers on the speedo . B: Mine was an import, clocks are in km ,previous owner put a mph overlay on the speedo,in the dark the back illumination does not show through the overlay so you can't read it.

Were the 96 n 97 faster than the 98 then?
Yes, the throttle goes slight further round on models from those years. To unlock full power on later models just buy a 96/97 throttle grip and swap it over.

I had "NO IDEA!" Do you sell them? Ive got £500 here with your name on it.I NEED to go faster! Please tell me where to send the money n how fast you can deliver !

How much faster will mine go with the better throttle? Will I be able to beat my mates zzr ?
Be honest, like many before you,you glimpsed my plate n read it as a 51 plate injection model did nt you?
It is a stunning example,but alas,not: 5104 PNK its S104 PNK
PS Going forward,if unsure,if you see a choke control on left bar,its got a carb.. Just saying lol
