Help with cd player purchase

Thought you might have sussed it, but no... Loads of radios but have a cd player
Do you have any big charity warehouses near you? We have a Help,the Aged place near us, has tons of outdated electrical equipment. I'll have a look next time I am down that way and see if they can match your needs.
Might even pick up an eight tracker player, minidisc player, 8mm cine camera and Betamax video recorder while I am there.
As an aside, I could never understand why minimdisc never really caught on. At the time it seemed like a good solution.

I thought minidisc was just getting going when they released the first mp3 players, essentially making the minidisc obsolete before it had chance?
Funnily enough that went through my mind - thought I,would look at my builders when he popped in this afternoon to do job and............. he didn't have it with him!!

They all do radios only, none of them have a cd player
That is what people like me and you would do.. Well actually a BT speaker and MP3 player is more like it.
But this is Woman of which we speak.
It took the whole family to brow beat her in to getting a mobile fone about 4 years ago
It took another 2 years of intervention type brow beatings to get her to charge it up more that once a month !!!
She is a true technophobe and if it cannot be just switched on she simply will not use it

This one uses power tools battery pack so is rechargable via normal plug and has an auzillary for any personal cd player or ipod player. Claims 11 hours between charges, also has bluetoof

If you can get one that takes 8 C or D cells in its battery compartment, 10 minutes work with a soldering iron and presto you have a 12V wired input ....

Don't know the brand but they all come out of the same Chinese factories anyway
Must have a 7812 and a couple of caps laying around. If not I will spend than 92p and buy one LOL!!
