With a bit of luck I'll be powder coating some bits for Smix, bless her little cotton socks - she knows a good un when she sees one! Oh, and Gypsy, your vinyl is on the way mate, you'll have it this week!

Just checked the tyres. They are dunlops .

Whats wrong with them? should i be worried about them ? or just wear them out a bit quicker than i would normally to get them replaced ;)

Somebody on here runs dungplops

Most are on Bridgestone BT020s (including me) or Avons
If you look at the old threads you'll find spirited debate over which is best...

Hi Geforceuk w;;v

Most folks on here seem to totally HATE the Dunlops, but I was advised by a guy I know, (Who fits bike tyres, but DOESN'T supply em, so has no vested interest!!), that the Dunlop D207 was indeed a bloody useless bit of kit, which quickly got a shite reputation... %$fan

Dunlop were so pissed about it, that they threw everything at its replacement, which they imaginitively called...... the D208. c7u8

I have D208's on my Blackbird, (which replaced the popular Bridgestones already fitted), and I have to say they are BRILLIANT. :yo:

New D208's = shagged sliders for me!! Up until I got the Dunlops fitted, I was a Knee - Down - Virgin (now I'm just a virgin!!)...... But no more!!

They've not been on long enough for me to comment on wear rates, but they have done around 1200 miles so far, and neither is showing any signs of wear, despite my knee-down antics, wet weather riding, and two up work... :dunno:

Other people still judge Dunlop on the old D207's but things have moved on.

Good Luck. g0551p
