Hope yours are OK Jono... Heard lots of horror stories about Mr Hondas own heated grips...Thats why most of us have gone for Hiene Gericke (spelling ??) own at a lot less money (about ?40 instead of ?120).

If you have any problems with them PLEASE let Honda UK know they seem to think that they are ok but loads of peeps on here ( including me) have had problems wiith them. I bought a set from jaws for toots bike and they have been trouble free.

I found the Hein Gericke units bought for me by MikeW in a sale at a German branch to be very good for about ?25. If I had to buy again I would go for a set from Jaws.

Coggy, a ray of light among the dark clouds :bow: Well there fitted now, my dealers mechanic who fettles my bike with loving care and fitted the grips says he hasn't had any back with problems. But sh1tehppns so we'll see how we get on. In the meantime rode home in summer gloves, they are very warm! (the grips...not the gloves)! smilie_koc

Yep, I got Honda ones as well

and they're lovely. Mine have two settings on them - NO I don't mean on and off (Lumpy). I mean high and low and they're really very good.

I've got two.... honest!

Honda jobbies on the CBR 600....third bike they've been on and they would burn the hands off you at max heat. I've got Motrax on the 400rr and they get warm at best...plus one of the grips went open cct after about six months. Buy the best.....you only fit em once....as Everest says!

I have a spare set brand new minus the left grip, if anyone is having trouble with the right grip then let me know. I also have the wiring harness and control box. OH and fitting guide.

HONDA UK are fully aware of the problem with their grips however some dealers are in denial of this, go onto any HONDA make specific website and look it up, VFR, PAN CLAN, CBR or what ever and they all tell a tale of woes.

The best grips i hear are the ones from "I'M DEREK" stores similar to the ones JAWS stocks.
