Well,
I did my homework, spoke to Telewest,
And I have booked installation of Cable TV and a new bit of kit called TVDRIVE.
Its like Sky+ but better. And it will work out a lot cheaper for the full package AND TVDrive than Sky on the lowest level product and Sky +. And its free fitting.

Been hearing good things about the TVDrive box, but it stinks that you have to pay for the box monthly. Presume you have to pay for a cable 'package' and then this on top?

I like the ?120 one off payment I made for my Freeview PVR, the only thing I miss is Eurosport, but then I watch all the bikesport through my broadband connection and record to the PC if need be.

Yes Sam, it's ?10 a month extra on top of the TV package...
But.
I get it all half price for 3 Months, and they are knocking ?7.50 a month off the total package cos I have BBand and Phone through them as well, so its a pretty reasonable deal.

A Lot cheaper than Sky anyway.

Hope its worth the move around.

picked up a panasonic TUCTH100 last week..nice bit of kit
80gb drive does just over 40 hours of recording, twin tuner, optical output..etc etc
had a cable digital box before which was good but the picture and sound on the panasonic blows it clean away!
lots of good reviews of the kit on the net all with very good feedback.im using an indoor aerial and picking up every channel:yo:
