I had a set of air horns on a fj1200 a few years ago. VERY loud, souded like a 40 ton trucks horn.

Took a bit of fiddling to fit them under the fairing, but was well worth it
Yes, I remember that Neil, what happened to them? As I remember, they were air horns. Was that the FJ you took to Spain or the second one?

Yes the first one. I bought the air horns in Chester, The shop that sells accessories but no bikes(I think)
Funniest thing I ever saw was the poor bloke doing the MOT. I swear he actually sh1t himself when he tested the horn:}

OK guys - now that lovely nice Jaws chap sent me a pair of these noisy Fiamm horns (thanks John :yo: ) this week.

Have I misunderstood something in the thread or do some of you advocate using just one of the pair as a replacement for the existing single horn on the Bird?

Second bit is if you do use both horns are there any preferred locations for mounting them? (Polite answers on a postcard please!!!)

The last time I used these as replacements for a single horn I just split the wiring to go to both horns and mounted them off the same bracket, never was a problem.
