JUST GOT BACK FROM VISITING A MATE IN STRATFORD ON THE WAY BACK ME AND THE MRS NEARLY T BONED BY SOME PRAT IN A AUDI ESTATE SAW THE PRAT NOT LOOK AT US STARTED TO TAKE AVIODING ACTION GAVE HIM LONG BLAST ON HORN BUT STILL HE CARRIED ON PULLING OUT BUY THIS TIME THOUGH I HAD ALREADY BROUGHT BIKE TO A STAND STILL AND HE JUST
CARRIED ON DOWN THE RODE AS IF WE WERE NEVER THERE BUT THE ONE THING I DID THINK AFTER ALL THIS IS THAT THE BIKE HORN IS NOT THAT
LOUD AND I WAS WONDERING HAS ANYBODY CHANGED THIERS AND WHAT TO:yo:

There are as loud as any twin horns on a car and will certainly shock a few that you should aim them at :yo:

I had a set of air horns on a fj1200 a few years ago. VERY loud, souded like a 40 ton trucks horn.

Took a bit of fiddling to fit them under the fairing, but was well worth it

I already have the said twin-tone Fiamm air horns fitted to my bird...


Nice n loud, but since fitting, I have only had t use them once:cry:

They did have the desired effect tho' (guy in car nearly crapped himself)

Cost at Halfords @ ?19.00 as part of a kit c/w relay & wiring.

Like the idea of air horns, my mates dad had some on his car, could hear them from across town, they were great. He is the local magistrate as well I should add!!

I've a "stebel" on my bike now!! took me two days to get the ringing out of my head, after I had sounded the horn in the garage where I had fitted it to the bike!! :bang: next time I decide to "test" something like that I shall wear ear plugs!! :bow: it is FLAMING LOUD :bow:

Just taken delivery of one. If I ever get around to fitting it (might be selling my baby ), will it connect straight into the wiring or do I have to put the fused link in as suggested in the fitting instructions?

Afternoon ianrobbo1 - where did you get the stebel from? And does it fit straight onto the existing wiring as per scruffygit's question?

Cost from Jaws, 12 quid ( +?2.71 post ) Relay not needed .. already one on the bike that is MORE than capable of handling them !

got the Magnum 139 low tone, as Jaws says no need for a relay it was a straight on to the same connectors and BLAST!!!!!
