Make sure you get one with version 8 maps, as Garmin have also been supplying older version 7 maps with the i3 at the same time and price - and Garmin have bee misinforming people about future (possible?) free upgrades... The packaging will state which version of map is installed (small print).

Only found out about this after getting a version 7 i3 and then reading articles on Pocket GPS World forum.

Kwik Save have also been seen selling i3's for ?99.....

OK - please don't tell my boss I said this!!! h1d1ng2 It is possible that Somerfield have the older version 7 maps - the way Argos and some supermarkets get cheaper electrical items is by selling the older, soon to be updated versions. But if you ask to check, at least you will know. The buyer didn't give me the specifics as I guessed you'd all looked them up on the Garmin site. However they are a limited stock and he reckons they will be sold out within a week or so.

The reason Kwik Save also have the same product for the same price it they are part of Somerfield - they just get the cheaper deals on some things first!!!! :bang: :neenaw:
