On my vt500 I got to the bottom of my drive, got onto the road & the bike went from under me, I am straddled trying to stand up but the bike was sliding all over, guy at the side of the road just stood watching, eventually had to let the bike go, luckily no damage, got to work with no further incident.
Going home from work on a 250 superdream, going up a dual carriageway in very strong winds, got to open Countryside & the wind forced me into the other lane, luckily managed to correct it before I got to the roundabout
You Should try going over the QEII Bridge at Dartford on a motorised bicycle in even what feels like a light breeze at ground level. Terrifying, not least as the barriers are pretty much see through.

Occasionally went that way home if the Blackwall Tunnel was closed, sphincter clenched like a vice ten minutes before arrival.

The only challenge I bottled out of was going over the Humber bridge on my first Blackbird, it was that windy they contemplated closing the bridge.

QEII Bridge road height 449 feet. The Humber Bridge towers are just over 500 feet tall so the roadway, with its high sides, I would estimate at no more than 100 feet above the water.

Going up the QEII is like being in a Roadrunner cartoon with the road and it’s vanishing point disappearing into space.

i am well, well ‘ard.

M6, rain and wind bad enough to stop cars, me on a CX500 with big aftermarket fairing.. Had to lean the bike right over to keep a straight(ish) line
Felt like I was over at 35 degrees. truth be told I bet it not even 4 degrees !
Still managed national speed limit :)

No it isn’t.

The main span is 1,410m (4,625ft) and the side spans 280m and 530m on the north and south sides respectively. The bridge will carry dual two-lane carriageways able to cope with about 50,000 vehicles a day. Along each side of the deck there will be a pathway for pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge deck will give some 30m clearance above high water – sufficient for the shipping that goes farther upstream.

It is 90m above the water, almost 300ft.

Remember in 70's going over Severn bridge in a Hilman Imp. Was kinds scary when you couldn't see the other end.

The central span is 450 m (1,476 ft) long and is suspended 65 m (213 ft) above the Thames to accommodate ocean-going cruise liners. 84 metre high steel pylons ayre located above 53 metre high concrete piers giving the bridge a total height of 137 metres. From these, the road deck is suspended by cables.

Much nearer my 100 feet than Derek’s claim.

No but I was once ejected from a supersonic aircraft when the USAF tested the B-58’s escape capsule. Ejected at 35,000 feet from a B-58 flying at 870 MPH, I landed unharmed but pretty pissed off 7 minutes 49 seconds later
Hmmmmm
