Forgot.. I also sold off my entire dark room for ?30 !!
That included two Durst enlargers, exposure calculaters ( basically light meters ! ), countless dishes, dryers, clips tanks, ( even a tank for 8mm cin film ! ) ..

Oh and a bit of useless info for anyone still going it for themselves :p
You can load a film in a tank using a fag as a light source.. It was not until I had finished loading one in that I realised what I had done, but there was no fogging detectable at all :p

Ok.. anyone else remember all the fun and games that you had loading up a 36 exposer 35mm if the tank spiral was not spotless !
I even bought a posh one with ball bearing in the feed to try and get round it..
Then I found rinsing with a drop of pure water and drying with a hair dryer just before loading made life nice and easy !

Still got my dark room up and running, I must admit to using Ilford XP2 BW film which is a C41 type, ie use colour chemicals to develop so I just take it to asda. The prints they produce arent any good but better than test strips. However when you print them yourself there are great, very very fine grain.

Top flite film camera's like Nikon FM2 or Olympus OM4 are still fetching top money. Have pair of OM4 bodies been looking at upgrading to a OM4ti, but they go for ?300-500 on Ebay.

But for Colour I use a Nikon D70 digital, TBH film cant be beat and dont think ever will for B&W

Thats just reminded me of something else...

Anyone else remember multigrade paper ?

I found a half full 100 sheet box of 10 x 8 with all the filters when I flogged the gear.. The chap who bought it showed me some results he had got with it ( and it was at least 35 years old ! ) It was still perfect !!
