Hi all im new here but just purchased a blackbird 99 reg
i bought the bike with a view to get it back on the road and head on a trip to germany/black forest
the issue is it has fairing damage on the r/h side panel and nose cone.
ive checked ebay but theres no r/h fairing panel and nose cone in blue .
but there is a full fairing from the far east does any one have any previous experience with buying the fairings from china
are they terrible folks if so ill sit it out and wait for some decent s/h parts

Speak to TAFFY on here about having yours repaired and sprayed

OR

A few on the facebook page have used injection moulded sets from these guys.

They are good quality and fit well as a set.

Rub down with wire wool to shift corrosion & clean them up - then clear lacquer them

OR

Strip the forks down and have the lowers powder coated.

Cheers ill make a start on the bike this weekend and hopefully upload a few pics as i go along.
Also if anyone local has a nice standard headlight they want to swap for a xenon one then i would just exchange it with them
same goes for irridium screen.please note i dont want any money and ill provide a cuppa or can of fosters
i would prefer a standard blackbird once its finished (hopefully)
oh and im not keen on alarms lol so if any body wants a meta thatcham approved alarm and has the skill to remove it with me its yours and it works fine.
i once got badley caught out with a meta on my 2000 blade in the isle of man while heading home from tt but thats anotber story@tu*
