Excuse me, how did it not affect play? The player released the ball, it could have gone to a Leeds player who would dribble past six defenders, cross to Rodrigo who bangs it into the net.
From memory it went back to the Leeds player who deliberately kicked it at the referee in the first place

To sum up the first half.
Headless chickens once again, just wish we could score as possession isn’t working, Struijk is an idiot, no need to give away a free kick regardless of the ref missing the clear offside, Gnonto trying too hard & taking on too many players, need to up our game for the second half, should we bring on Rutter & McKennie? Maybe, I would bring on Summerville for Bamford as he has a special connection with Gnonto.

With 5 minutes to go I can seen them sneaking another goal, Marsch needs to spend more time coaching Leeds in goal scoring.
I like Bamford from a technical perspective but I think he is just too nice at this level. Doesn’t have that ‘I don’t mind getting hurt’ attitude needed at the top level.

I think they have sacked him at the wrong time, they are playing but not scoring & that’s nothing to do with Marsch, sacked just before two very tough games is stupid.
I fully expect to see a reset Leeds tomorrow - they looked like the heart had gone out of them on Sunday. Hard work, fire and application is in the control of the players.
Think part of Marsch’s downfall was the overly optimistic prose he came out with post defeat - I know you have to support your players but there also has to be reality and signs of improvement.
if Leeds had done the inevitable earlier they might have got Dyche.
Don’t rate Dyche, I think we’ll probably go for Corberan or maybe Tuchel although I doubt Tuchel will want the job, just hope we don’t get Lampard or Gerrard
