Ebay - Corbin seats

Anyone on here own up to be one of the sellers of the 3 corbin seats on Ebay at the moment ?

One is a Viper (the one with the XX Logo). :bow:

The second one looks like a Viper. :dunno:

Is the Viper is a good seat ?

I could do with a nice touring seat for my French adventures in May but dont fancy the ?400 price tag of a new one.

I believe they are. I also think they are priced at about ?200, or ?275 with gel inserts front and rear. You can save a few quid by using your own base.

This is the bloke that makes them. He is endorsed by Jaws, and they used to be sold by 1200Pete.

Baz I can vouch for the Viper seat as I got Gypsy's one as a Chrimbo prezzie I find it really comfy.

Well just for a.....

bit of info i bought a seat made by Coventry Custom seats and its Fookin exellent in the dry, but its Fookin crap when it rains cos the stitchin lets rain in, and the foam soaks it up and when you sit on it for a few days after, you get 2 lovely wet patches on your arse, still money well spent though,as its the comfyest seat you'll ever sit your lard pack on (imho) Doggieman8um

Got one now

Went over to Coventry today and bought one of the 'Melboy' variety, otherwise known as http://www.motorbike-seats.co.uk/ and bought the fully gelled variety of the Bladerunner style. Went out for a ride tonight and its gorgeously comfy, roll on my France trip in May.

:bow: :bow: :bow: Its more like a honeycombed squidgy stretchy matting about 20mm thick, quite impressive when its shock absorbtion properties were demonstrated by Mel.
