4am start as we've got to be back in "T" yard for 2pm to find out who in the company are getting the bullet!! yep!! they are laying off 170 people!! most of which will be upper and middle management!! :bow:
goes to show how even the biggest of company's are having to "shed" people to maintain profits for the share holders!!

OOPS!! late again eh?? sod em!! :} ended up watching "autopsy" last night instead of going to bed!! :bang:
thanks for your thoughts lads, :bow: I've already been told my job is safe!! due to the fact they have "trimmed" the actual workforce down so much that if anyone actually went on the sick they would struggle covering his job!! out of 23 of us we currently have 3 on long term sick, 1 suspended pending dismissal and 2 working their notice!!
reference MY sick time, it "tends" to be for when they cut holes in me that I'm off on the sick, as I don't "do" colds and stuff!! and doctors "generally" don't cut bits out/off you unless it really is necessary!!

well seems "the grapevine" was correct!! only upper and middle management going!! 170 out of 4.700 working for the company!! "BUT" it appears we have all got to work harder so the shareholders can still cream it in!!! yeah right!! most of us start between 4 am + 5/30 am so they hold a "meeting" at 2 PM on a friday and wonder why NO ONE asks a single question!! speaks volumes to me,!!
one bit of good news!! I didnt fall asleep and start snoring this time!! :} someone else did!!! twice!! :bow:
