E-Bayers?

Just been watching some final bidding on some Givi luggage and other stuff. WHY do people spend more on second hand stuff than they would if they bought it brand spankers from a shop. Bidding frenzy, don't want to get beaten, stupid? :dunno:

:dunno: mate. Many bidders think that if its on Ebay it must be cheap. I bought some cycle computers at a good price and bunged them on ... fook me they sold for more than double the new price in the shops.

The only way to use ebay or any auction is to know the as new price, set yourself a limit and dont ever go above it. Ive had some bargains on the site
i.e. a brand new belly pan for the Ace at ?82 (Yam price ?450+). I have also been after a MP3 player now for months, I have set my limit and am not going above it....

I've been watching the Bird seats that finished today. Viper went for ?195 plus ?9.50 postage yet you can get them for ?200 new, they are having a laughsh1tehppns . An Original seat went for ?52, used and looking tatty again having a laugh.

Final stampede meant they started to run amock:bang: , what else should we expect from an auction.

I'm looking too and I've found the same. Best place for discount new is 1stlinemotorcycles, and second cheepest is (Don't laugh) Hein Gerike


:dunno: And Jaws said only last week he doesn't stock Givi any more because you can pick it up cheap on Ebay .... :dunno:
