I've been spouting off about the 2 billion dollars spent on cloud seeding for 08 to prevent hurricanes on the eastern sea board USA and thats why we are getting all this crappy grey stuff as a result of this.

But now they are on their third hurricane for 08 so either fooking about with nature is making it worse or its a load of bollox

I actually enjoy riding in the rain... the first 5 minutes is the downer knowing you have a bike to clean afterwards but once I accept that I really enjoy it.

A little secret... wear a thin set of non lined waterproofs over your normal so called gortex waterproofs/cordura jobbies. The thin set may allow some water through but they stop the wind blowing it into/through the normal kit.
Also take some surgical gloves and wear them inside your normal waterproof gloves. I used this kit in a 5 hour wet ride including a cloud burst, flooded roads where man hole covers were lifting and stayed comfortable and dry.

Or

Stay at home.8ree!

The worst bit of wet weather riding is if you don't ride fast enough (ie towns)to disperse the rain off your visor.
