Dutch BB Meeting -Sept 23

Hi all, just a quick line to tell you that Jon & Anya, Shropslad, Moog and Mike1100xx are heading over to Holland for The Dutch BB club September meeting. We thought that if anyone else wants to go to the meeting but dose not want to do it alone then you are welcome to join us for the weekend. We have already booked our crossing and hotel in Calais but if anyone wishes we can meet up In Calais on Friday night for a beer or two or on Saturday morning before we leave for Holland. The camping ground in Holland is about 420km from Calais so its around 4 hours depending on stops. We are returning to the UK on Monday, crossing the channel about 3pm.

The BlackbirdOwnersClub is trying to achieve a new club record?

A row of a hundred Blackbirds.

This event takes place in Hollandscheveld at a camping in the north east of Holland.

The date is 23 september 2007..

Some of the Birdies are arriving the 22th of September with their tents.

You can also plan it in to be a part of your visit to Holland..

Hi Dave, see you there then mate. We missed this years International meet so are going to try and make up for it in September.

The International meet in 2006 was a great weekend, lets hope this one is a good

We have already booked our crossing and hotel in Calais.....

Far be it for me to advise such a seasoned traveller like yourself Jon, but hotel in Calais??

Half an hour (or so) ride from Calais you can be in St. Omer! Better hotels at surprisingly good prices, many many really good places to eat, and altogether a much more interesting and nicer place to be than fooking Calais!

Once you stay there you would never consider that shithole Calais again I'm sure.

You just ain't been to the right places rob, bl4hbl4h Ask all that went to Assen (back in the good ole days ) (22 bikes I think) we had a great time with the locals. But always open to suggestions.

Bouncing this because there are loads out there that aint got a clue what they will miss.

If you have ever wanted to burst your euro meeting or euro ride bubble this is the time to do it.

I/we have had experience of taking a few birds into Holland before and are well aware of the variety of riders that sign up for such trips.

Don't be concerned about the Midland Masiff reputation, 23 bikes in 2005 can't be wrong. Read and commit
