So, opinions please :bow: , do I sell my baby :B (2002 BLACKbird on an 03 plate, 17k miles) or do I keep her tucked up in the garage and take her for the occasional blast when I get back.

sell it, when you get back here every once in a while you will have too much else on your mind to bother with the bike, and when you finally return you will have the dosh to get another "possibly" the "new" bird if and when it finally gets here, :dunno:

Sell it and bank the dosh, when you come back you'll have the cash that would have depreciated from your '02' over the 2 years which in effect means you'll be able to buy an 04 / 54 plate in 2 yrs time.

'02' now ?4500

'02' in 2 yrs ?3800

'04/54' in 2 yrs ?4500

I'm sure we can come up with a rota of members to keep it exercised until you return. That way you can ride it all week in the weeks you return.

If you choose carefully, you'll have a UK driving licence and a low mileage motorbike to return to...
