A simple cheap answer could be to wear a pair of goretex socks.

The colder we get the more fatigued and tired we become and our concentration levels drop and thats when accidents happen.

So pop down to Milletts tomorrow - you know it makes sense!

I have been wearing 'Gaerne evo strada's for the last 4 years use them every day in all weathers (I ride throughout the year) and they have not leaked once.
I have recently got a pair of Sidi Vert and they have had two soakings so far with no problems.
