Deffinatly consider myself as a biker although ive only had my licence a few years now 4-5 yrs, ride it coz its all i got in all weathers any distance anytime, anywhere. Cars just dont do it for me work on them all day since way back and just dont interest me at all ( plus dont have a car licence anyway never botherd ) ill ride it to work with a smile, and back again, and if im in the mood ill go back out and ride somemore dragging a few friends along ( who im trying to convert to birds aswell ) we all will ride anyware just to get there stop for a cig and a cuppa just to ride back again, plus motorcyclist has the word cycle in it and i aint seen any pedals fitted, and it sounds posh and to long, biker is quicker and easier to say, i wear the patches naming my last bike on my leathers now in its memory (as it ended up in ashes) i got more helmets than shoes as the wife keeps reminding me and a showroom poster of my last bike on the wall in the hallway framed with pride. Aint found a bird poster yet to replace it if i do that will be there lol.
The word "Cycle" has nothing to do with pedals. It relates to the wheels i.e bi-cycle, two wheels. Look on your tax disc, if you have one, and you will see it describes the vehicle as a bicycle. As for "Biker or motorcyclist" who gives a shit?
Oops didnt realise it was a serious posting subject ie i was having a joke about it, and yep your right it does say it on my tax disk's on both my bikes which i have, never been without 1 ? And yep your right again i dont realy care what class/group im in as long as im on a bike! The word "Cycle" has nothing to do with pedals. It relates to the wheels i.e bi-cycle, two wheels. I ride motorcycles, to be a biker it needs to be in your blood though, it doesn't matter how many you own or how often you ride, it has to be in the blood. That's why Wolfie is called an alcoholic and Bert is a shirtlifter.
