Fridge Freezers (spelling?) don't work in the cold 'I din't :bang: ' after chuck'in a nearly new one away last year, well I paid the council to take it, only to find out the replacement new one's packed up now.
So I ask's the next door neighbour (air'con engineer) to look at it, so he says ''where is it'' in the garage I says, he say ''bring it inside then try it'' ''it works''
So I paid a tenner to the council last year to take away a perfectly good ?400 fridge freezer

Actually some do and some don't.... you need to check before you buy.

We bought a chest freezer for going in the garage and had to check a few out until we found one that was OK.......

Think you'll find that any fridge or freezer that is "frost free" will not work unless they're in the house!!

Simple solution, don't tell the fridgefreezer that it is going in the garage pretend it is in the house.
