Why is it that when they leave home you see them more often than when they lived at home?

Why is it that when they arrange for a plumber/tiler/plasterer etc they just assume you have nothing better to do as they are too busy going to blackpool to meet the tradesman?

Why is it that when they ask you to do a job in their house they assume that not only will you provide free labour you will also provide all the materials/tools etc & a lifetime guarantee?

Why is it that when you go to their house they sit with a jumper on & a blanket round them stating that they are warm never mind that you are freezing yet when they come round your house they complain at being cold & ask for the fire on & central heating turning up?


Why is it that when they live at home they complain that they have no friends yet your phone bill tells a different story?

why is it that they can leave all the lights in the house on & all the doors open yet when you borrow their car for a short journey they complain about you using their diesel?

Don't know - but my daughter is only 7!

Not quite, youngest has bought a house & was supposed to be moving into it in January but she is still at home, she is talking of selling it as soon as it is ready.
