I’ve only lived here 55 years, and so I have no idea. However, this site was where there was a cotton mill hundreds of years ago, and so I’ll assume it commemorates that. I’ve looked online and can’t find out. What's the monument??

Soon. That is Lima, she was rescued off the streets in Croatia (I think) with her mum when she was 8 weeks old and then spent 12 months in kennels before coming into the UK courtesy of a charity Settusfree that my sister helps with. The charity rehomes abandoned Setters and both her others are ones who couldn’t be offered for adoption because of health issues. Rather than being offered for adoption as was expected, she settled into home life, despite never having been house trained or anything, along with my sis’s other 2 Setters. She basically adopted them as her family and was never advertised. She was house trained in a matter of a couple of days, and all’s well. She loves me and Molly, and if it wasn’t for my and my wife’s long term health issues I/we would have loved to have her. When is the black and white dog getting it's highlights finished...?
