Cush drive rubbers

noobie

Clueless in most things
Probably the thing that is most neglected or forgotten about.

So how long should a cush drive on a bird last miles or years or both?

The early OE ones were reformulated , if I recall to make them a little less hard to significantly improve chain life. If they move when rocked in situ then they probably need replacing. Most common failure on mine over the years is that the joining rubber piece breaks. If in doubt buy a new set from Karen at Jaws old website

Good luck

I changed mine at 40k but had the bike in bits doing the trailing fork. I prefer PM than no M. Kept the old ones as they were perfectly fine.
