He used a clay substance to bring the paint to a mega smooth finish in preparation for waxing...but he also used a cutting compound beforehand to get it ready for the claying...
Then he used a special degreaser to finally dress to bodywork before he applied the "specialy pure" south American beeswax (which cost ?600 a tub )
I wouldnt think that you could use this system on blackbirds, because the paint finish is so soft & thin that by the time you had got it ready for claying, you would be at the base coat...(Lots of supersexy silver bikes then...lol)
