It didn't hit reserve, so I gave the bloke a call, it's just had new chain and sprockets, got a full Honda service history, fancy tracker alarm, sounds like it's ready for tyres. He want's to sell complete with the luggage (which I don't want) as he's bought a BMW and looking for ?4800.
What's the luggage and rack worth to sell on, and anyone seen this bike around, and knows the condition at all ?

Only ones I know over there are Aidey (Bath) and Mid life crisis (aka Martin) who's in Bristol. He might know of it.

Look at the piccy of the rear wheel, chain adjuster badly corroded, sprocket nuts the same, closer look at the rear peg hanger, bolts looks rusty... Stub pipe, back section...
Piccy of front forks pitted to fook.

Not sure but I think you can find better.

... see my post on 'Advice on Buying a Blackbird' thread. I live not far from Thornbury but haven't seen the e-bay bike. Mine's a year older but much cleaner and cheaper and you don't need to pay for any extras!

John, got half way through your uber-clear photo's of your Bird today (what a stunner, a credit to you), then, as it was being viewed as a web page lost the lot :bang: .
I somehow managed to wipe everthing on Tiscali's new mail browser that they installed this week.

Was the asking price ?4250 ?

Yes, ?4250 was the (firm) price. Look at the 'Buying advice for Blackbird' thread for more info. I sent you 3 PMs today - one this morning (with lots more info) and 2 later with 4 or 5 pictures each. Do you want me to re-send them, or is your e-mail system now completely defunct?

John, all three were on the same page with another 7 emails, the list was ticked when I wanted to only deleate one at a time, if you know what I mean (damn Tiscali, changing for changes sake).

Send them again to my other addy, marcusfordus@ntlworld.com if you would please. I stand a chance of looking at them and not deleating them with all the spam that gets throgh to my other email address.
