I have a varied taste in music, I get pleasure listening to Buddy holly,Neil diamond, Meatloaf, Clash, Stranglers,Specials, Drop kick Murphy's, Pogues/Popes, fury's, travis,Lightening seeds,Chumbawumba,underworld, and various classicals but whenever I hear Abba each song brings back so many good memories of my time in the Royal Navy, and my early courting days, if I only liked abba and never listened to anything else then yes I think I could justifiably be regarded as a sad individual, however I am not tied to one type of music, I listen with an open mind if I like something I like it, if I don't sometimes it grows on me, sometimes it doesn't, as yet I haven't heard any Rap that I can say I like, should I regard people who like rap as brain dead morons, just because their taste doesn't coincide with mine?

That image would scare me, at the time I was more into supertramp but it is only when I look back I realise how different songs/tunes represent significant parts of my life, and Abba more than most, I remember at the time everybody was into Elton john (not literally) I couldn't stand him but now I can listen to a lot of his songs and think 'yeah,not bad'
