4300 on mine and they look about half worn, so you're in the right area. Looks like the rear pads are wearing more than the front ones.

Come on you Hatters
Looks like you guys need to stop doing stoppies and get some advanced training :)

My fronts lasted 24k, and the rears that my local dealer conned me into replacing at 8k are still in now at 35k and still have plenty left.

Oh, and I aint no old duffer that just plods about. Its all about looking far enough ahead and planning in advnce so you aren't always standing on the brakes at the last minute. Your pillions will thank you for giving them a smoother ride as well :)

Don't use yer brakes!

Try dragging your toes along the ground! Saves on brake pads, but the relative cost in boots is quite high!

I guess us poor buggers who commute in cities are going to wear them quicker than those who only do weekend ride-outs and long distance motorway riding. I've counted (yes I'm a saddo) 16 stops or more on a 7 mile commute.

Stop/start ridings gonna wear them quicker. I'm halfway through my third set in 14,500m. I tried dragging my toes but it played havoc with the nail varnish by the second set of lights!

I seem to average about 12 to 14k out of a set of EBC double H's

I have replaced mine with pads hewn from solid granite and find, based on early indications, that they will last at least 100k miles. I am looking for new forks, front wheel and a fairing though, need to recalibrate my stopping distances.
